About

How Abijou works

We started in Gangnam in 2006 and the network now runs 17 branches across Korea. The line we work to is skin transformation woven into everyday life — care you can keep up with, rather than one dramatic change.

  • Across the 17 branches in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon and Busan: over 1,000 medical professionals and more than 350 certified medical devices
  • Authentic products only, in appropriate amounts — the treatment is fitted to the condition, not to a package
  • Prices are quoted from each branch’s published price list as it stands

Your Concerns

Sound familiar?

The concerns that are hardest to settle on your own. We start by working out where your skin actually is.

“There are too many treatments and I have no idea where to start”

Lifting alone covers several devices that work on different principles. We look at skin thickness and where the sagging sits, cut the list to two or three candidates, and then explain the difference between them.

“I am worried about being sold more than I need”

Rather than bundling several procedures at once, we pick one priority, start there, and decide the next step after seeing how your skin responds.

“I do not want to book a consultation just to find out the price”

Per-treatment prices are published on the official reservation center, so you can check before you travel. All payment is made at the clinic — there is no deposit and no online prepayment.

Why Seoul

Total Beauty Brand

Hongdae — no transfer from Incheon Airport

80–90 m from Exit 1 of Hongik Univ. Station on the AREX Airport Railroad — the only one of these three reachable without a transfer from Incheon Airport. Open until 20:30 on weekdays, 16:30 on Saturday.

Myeongdong — open on Sunday

Myeongdong is the only one of these three taking Sunday bookings (09:30–18:00; closed on public holidays). Weekdays 09:30–20:30 and Saturday 09:30–18:00 both run straight through with no lunch break.

Gangnam — widest menu of the three

The first branch, opened in 2006. It runs 59 treatments across 8 categories — the widest menu of these three. 66 m from Exit 10 of Gangnam Station. Weekdays 10:00–20:00 (lunch 14:00–15:00), Saturday 10:00–16:30.

One brand across all three

Price lists and treatment menus differ by branch, but the authentic-product rule and the clinical standard are the same. You can be seen at a different branch.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which of the three Seoul branches should I go to?

Pick by your schedule. If Sunday is your only free day, Myeongdong — it is the only one of the three open on Sunday. If you are coming straight from Incheon Airport, Hongdae, reachable on the Airport Railroad without a transfer. If you want the widest choice of treatments among the three, Gangnam, which runs 59 treatments across 8 categories.

Is any branch open on Sunday?

Myeongdong is open Sunday 09:30–18:00. It is the only one of these three that opens on Sunday, and it is closed on public holidays. Gangnam and Hongdae are closed on both Sunday and public holidays.

Which branch is closest to Incheon Airport?

Hongdae. The AREX Airport Railroad runs to Hongik Univ. Station with no transfer, and the clinic is 80–90 m from Exit 1 — a one to two minute walk.

Do the branches stay open through lunch?

Myeongdong runs straight through on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday. Gangnam and Hongdae both close 14:00–15:00 on weekdays. Both stay open through lunch on Saturday.

Are prices the same at every branch?

The treatment menu differs by branch, so each branch publishes its own price list. You can check per-treatment prices on that branch’s page at the official reservation center before you come.

Which branch does laser hair removal?

Of Gangnam, Myeongdong and Hongdae, only Hongdae does. Cheongdam, Cheongnyangni and Gangseo also offer it — see the other Seoul branches below. Gangnam and Myeongdong do not.

Do all three branches treat international patients?

Yes. Gangnam, Myeongdong and Hongdae are each registered foreign patient institutions under Korea's Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Healthcare System and Attraction of Foreign Patients, verifiable at medicalkorea.or.kr. Gangnam and Myeongdong list the United States, Japan and China as designated target countries; Hongdae lists Japan, China and Mongolia.

What is the difference between Gangnam Main and Gangnam New?

They are the same Abijou Gangnam branch operating across two buildings, not two separate branches. That is why Seoul's 11 branches run out of 12 clinic locations rather than 12 branches — Gangnam Main and Gangnam New are counted as two locations under one branch. This site's Gangnam page covers both.

How do I book, and is a deposit required?

Booking works the same way at all three: message the branch's KakaoTalk channel or pick a time yourself on the official reservation center, abijouonline.com. No deposit is required and nothing is charged online in advance — all payment happens at the clinic on the day.

Which languages are supported at these branches?

English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional) are supported at Gangnam, Myeongdong and Hongdae alongside Korean. What we will not promise in advance is which specific doctor you will see on a given day.

Are there other Abijou branches in Seoul besides these three?

Yes. Abijou runs 17 branches nationwide, 11 of them in Seoul across 12 clinic locations. Beyond Gangnam, Myeongdong and Hongdae, Seoul branches include Cheongdam, Cheongnyangni, Gangseo, Jamsil, Guro, Mokdong, Yeouido and Nowon — see the list below for hours and what each treats.

Do foreign patients pay a different price from Korean patients?

No. Each branch quotes its own published official price list, and there is no separate foreign-patient rate. The only variation comes from a promotion or first-visit condition in effect at the time of booking, which applies to everyone booking under it.
