What is the short answer?
They are different materials with different stated purposes, so they are not two price tiers of one treatment.
Rejuran is PN-based. The manufacturer states its purpose as temporary improvement of facial wrinkles, and it is not a hyaluronic-acid filler. SKINVIVE is a hyaluronic-acid product injected into the dermis; Allergan Aesthetics positions it for skin smoothness without adding volume.
For Rejuran, the manufacturer links injection discomfort to PN's molecular weight and viscosity. Ask the clinic for the product's own instructions for use.

What are they made of and what are they meant for?
Material and stated purpose are the first things that separate the two.
- Rejuran: salmon-derived polynucleotide (PN) manufactured with PharmaResearch's DOT technology, placed into the dermis.
- Rejuran lineup: Classic, i, s and HB plus are separate products, not grades of one product. HB plus also contains sodium hyaluronate and lidocaine.
- SKINVIVE: hyaluronic acid sold within the JUVEDERM collection. The U.S. indication is intradermal injection to improve facial skin smoothness of the cheeks, age 21 and older. The Korean product wording is temporary improvement of moderate to severe fine lines on the cheeks of the face in adults.
- Because treatment happens in Korea, the Korean wording is the one that applies to SKINVIVE.

What should you know about injection discomfort and late reactions?
Both are injections, so some discomfort is possible.
Rejuran: the manufacturer pages describe injection discomfort. HB plus contains lidocaine, but suitability still needs medical assessment.
SKINVIVE: the injection goes into the dermis across multiple points. Ask how long visible injection marks typically remain, especially before a flight or event.
A general hyaluronic-acid complication series (31 referred patients) found delayed nodules in 32.1%. It describes referred problem cases for HA injections in general, not a rate for SKINVIVE, but it shows that a problem can start weeks after an uneventful visit.

Both are sold per cc, so the cc figure and the exact product name matter more than the brand.

How long does it last and how many sessions?
The number of sessions is decided by the clinician.
Rejuran: ask the clinician how many sessions and at what interval for your area.
SKINVIVE: the manufacturer phrasing is up to 6 months with optimal treatment, an upper bound with a condition attached rather than a period to plan around.
What should you ask before choosing?
Bring the concern and the area, not a product name.

- Which approved wording applies in Korea for that product and area?
- How many cc and how many sessions does the quote assume?
- What contact route exists if a lump or colour change appears after I fly home?
