What does the documentation for SKINVIVE say?
The FDA lists SKINVIVE by JUVEDERM under P110033/S059, approved 11 May 2023, for intradermal injection to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks in people 21 and older. The Korean official site presents it as a tissue-restoration biomaterial for temporary improvement of moderate to severe fine lines on the cheeks in adults. Because treatment happens in Korea, the Korean wording is the one that applies. Allergan Aesthetics positions it for skin quality rather than for adding volume.

What does the documentation for Belotero Revive say?
The Merz Thailand instructions for use describe a sterile, absorbable injectable implant of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (20 mg/mL, non-animal origin) with glycerol (17.5 mg/mL), for facial skin showing early signs of photodamage, with hydration, elasticity and superficial fine lines named in its scope. That is a market-specific document: it does not prove Korean authorization, and the FDA page cited is general dermal-filler safety information, not an approval of this product.

What reactions and complications are documented for dermal fillers?
What the FDA lists for dermal fillers as a class is bruising, redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching and rash, with nodules and infection less common, and accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue death. A retrospective series of 31 patients treated for complications after hyaluronic-acid injections recorded delayed nodules in 32.1% and found that more than half of the cases involved uncertified products or products of unknown origin. That series describes people who had a problem, not how often problems occur.
